Glacier Flight Academy was started with the idea of delivering value and experience to our students.  Our approach is individual.  We promote safety at every turn and expose our students to real world scenarios and systems that will eventually be a part of your work experience.

Training Progression

Private Pilot

Your First Step as a professional or recreational pilot

Sometimes referred to as a license to learn, the Private Pilot Rotorcraft Helicopter certificate is your first step.  This license will allow you to carry passengers, fly solo and provides a foundation for your continued learning.

Instrument Rating

Increase Safety and Control

The instrument rating is an important safety initiative and is increasingly a requirement for eventual employment.  Being able to maneuver the helicopter by reference to instruments only helps to promote safety and awareness of Instrument Meteorological Conditions.
